The Monte Vista dance program is designed for any student wishing to express themselves through artistic movement while having fun and making friends.
We offer five different classes for ranges of interest and ability. Students are enrolled in the appropriate class after auditions. All dance classes qualify for either Art or PE credit; however 9th graders are still required to take PE, and Freshman Dance students can receive Fine Arts credit.
We run two shows every year; one in fall and one in spring, where students get an opportunity to perform live in front of an audience and show their talent. Shows are performed in Al Gentile Theater at Monte Vista campus.
All of our shows and events are run by our amazing volunteers and funded from donations and advertisements. We actively seek your support as a volunteer and/or a donor.
Whether you have been dancing your whole life, or perhaps want to brush up and gain some confidence on the dance floor, or simply want to help, there's a place for everyone here at Monte Vista Dance!
